A strong new trend has emerged in the Czech housing market - and it's one that anyone familiar with the UK market will grasp immediately.
Rising wealth amongst large sections of the Czech population is directly linked to more sophisticated consumer requirements.
We reported some time ago that Czech consumers are becoming noticeably more demanding with regard to housing - quite simply many buyers and renters - predominantly those with young families - no longer want to live centrally in Prague where costs are high and tranquil surroundings are increasingly few and far between. The ideal choice for many has become simpler, quieter and aesthetically pleasant surroundings combined with open spaces.
This has led to a new trend around Prague - the super suburbs.
