I'm just back from fascinating fact finding trips to Sofia and Tirana. And I want to get down some thoughts to share with you right away. I'd certainly be interested to hear what other investors think about these two markets and my take on them.

First, let me say that the time is not right for Property Secrets to do a deal in Sofia, and I'll explain why in a moment.

Second, I think Albania - or more specifically, Tirana - is a really interesting market in which I can see great potential. It lacks one key ingredient, though, without which, once again, we won't be going in just yet.

But both these markets are changing rapidly - especially Tirana. So, what I'm about to say could be out of date in a very short time, which is actually what makes them both so exciting for an investor.
