But does this really make the country ripe for high property yields or is it just a lot of marketing spiel by politicians and developers?
Morocco gained independence from France in 1956 and, in the last few years, the French seem to have been systematically buying it back acre by acre.
The coasts have always been popular resorts for French tourists and there is a very established infrastructure that now serves them, including French guesthouses, newspapers and magazines, health centres, bars and coffee shops.
