An investment in a growing city in Bulgaria (which essentially means Sofia or Varna) is a different kind of investment from any other CEE investment.

Simply, the Bulgarian economy is the only economy in the EU (perhaps with the limited exception of Hungary), that has begun to change its policy - that is to run on very tight monetarist policies.

And, as a result, the government runs a positive current account.
