UK-based
Light
is ready to launch its ultra-modern concept in two Romanian sites in November, the company announced yesterday. Established by international cinema industry veterans John Sullivan and Keith Pullinger, Light has signed agreements to open cinemas at the Liberty Center in Bucharest and Tiago Mall, Oradea.
Both cinemas will include eight screens, up to 1,500 seats and the latest digital projection facilities with 3D capability. They will allow alternative content to be shown for both broader business purposes and the local community. A contemporary cafe bar is also projected. Sullivan noted that these developments provide the ultimate local and international retail and leisure experience. Pullinger said Romania has a lack of cinemas like these and there is a huge appetite for film and combining that with a spectacular cinema offering, there is potential to appeal to all budgets, ages and interests.
