Bristol has undergone a huge transformation in recent years, writes Tony Booth. And the city has established and amassed an envious number of 'investor positive' elements, which collectively have helped the city create an above average investment return potential.

Research conducted by one of the biggest online estate agents, 'email4property', found that Bristol had received more interest from prospective homebuyers than any other UK destination in the prior six months.

In its fine detail, the report disclosed the city had received 10,000 more online searches per month than any other city. This fact alone is a green flag for investors looking to find the next most likely capital growth hotspot - and it is just one of a number of interesting indicators that suggest Bristol is likely to top the UK's property investor charts in the coming months.

It is of course the gateway to the south west of England and Wales and, as such, enjoys an envious position in the country.

Statistics show it is one of the warmest regions of the country and enjoys above average periods of sunshine throughout the year. Because of this and its excellent transport links, Bristol is not only able to satisfy the needs of commuters - it has also established itself as a major tourist destination.
