The city of Ruse has, until recently, remained fairly unknown to investors in Bulgaria, while places with more established names like Sofia, Varna and Plovdiv have benefited from the FDI inflow instead.

Over the last 18 months or so, however, we have observed Ruse beginning to fully take advantage of its strategic location. Increasing investment activities in the city have been transforming and strengthening the local economy, which puts Ruse on the radar for property investors.
