Many residential property investors might be surprised to find that their commercial property counterparts are likely to favour the UK's North and East regions as low risk havens.
In fact, their top safe havens for investment include: Liverpool, Newcastle, Stoke-on-Trent and Cambridge.
However, not all these places score well for the same kind of commercial investment, according to an extensive survey undertaken by Experian, information and forecasting group.
Experian analyses over 220 UK property markets quarterly and ranks them on the basis of long-term investment risk, using economic analysis, demographics and analysing the property markets themselves. They also use their own Experian's own growth forecasts.
