I want to talk about developers and contracts.
Why?
Because in reality, however smart you are, however good at negotiating you are, you are never going to strike a great deal unless you can get a grip on the psychology of developers.
But, first, let me tell you why I've got valuable insight in this area. Why, in other words, you should listen to what I've go to say.
OK. I'm the son of a developer. All the other males in my family are involved in the industry in one way or another. Virtually all my friends are too - they're either developers themselves or industry professionals. As a result, I'm the first to admit, my conversations tends to be a little one track.
