House Price Average Up 0.9% on last year

The Land Registry state that house prices in England & Wales are up a small amount on last years midway point.
The biggest annual rise is in London who lead the way significantly with rises of 6.3% with prices down on June 2011 in areas such as Yorkshire & Humber, the North West, East Midlands and North East.
Property in Wales has seen the largest rise between May & June 2012 up 2% with annual rises in terraced property in England & Wales up from £121,380 in June 2011 to £123,355 - a difference of 1.6% withh Detached property and Semi-Detached increasing in value at 0.9% and 0.7% respectively. Flats & Maisonettes have seen a decrease in price of 0.3% during the last year.
