Once you've bought your first property (wisely!), then the next one or two will be a lot easier in terms of finding them, financing them and buying them (wisely!).

Now you're starting to move into portfolio territory, and you need to start addressing some fundamental questions about the nature of your portfolio.

But before that, you need to think about something even more basic to your future decision-making; what is your attitude towards risk, and the balance between risk and reward?

There is risk involved in setting up and running a property portfolio. That's a fact, and there's no way around it. And there are rewards, too, of course! Otherwise, why would you bother?
