How to calculate the value of property in CEE and maximize your profits
26th November 2008
By Brett Tudor
When it comes to measuring the value of property in CEE it largely depends on the country and in some countries you might have a balcony or terrace burning a hole in your resale profit expectations.
Successful property investing is all about maximizing your profit through rent and resale, therefore the type of unit you choose will naturally be influenced by how you view its appeal to potential buyers or tenants.
You might look at factors such as - is it a desirable location? Is it in a good area? Can I expect solid capital growth in the next 5 years? What is my rental yield likely to be?
Perhaps fairly low on this list will be how much balcony or terrace will I be getting for my money?
