The popularity of the buy to let market has not been dinted by rising interest rates says a new survey, which found that landlords are still making money.

Any fears of a property market crash are discounted in the Landlords' Optimism Index, published by buy to let mortgage brokers The Money Centre .

Even with interest rates rises of almost 1% this year, 73% of landlords surveyed rated their prospects as 'very good' to 'good.'

A total of 75% of landlords reported they were making a profit.
