But how does an investor differentiate between the different cities in Poland and where do the real opportunities lie?

To start with, a simple way of breaking the Polish property investment market down is into 3 categories:

• the capital city
• 2nd tier cities
• 3rd tier cities

The cities within each group have similar characteristics in terms of population, price, position on the growth curve and market maturity.

These characteristics can then be compared to one another and so we can deduce where the best opportunities lie within each group.
