Rules of Attraction: Top tips for renting out your property

There are two similar-sized rental properties in a similar area. They both have a good standard of decoration and are on the market for similar, competitive, monthly amounts. However, one of the properties is garnering considerably more interest than the other. What is making the difference?
There can really be only one reason behind this discrepancy, and that is the advert. Selling the many benefits of your property isn't just a case of writing down the location and sticking up a picture of the lounge that you took with your mobile phone.
A good advert is a way to appeal directly to peoples' aspirations and expectations - a bad, or even nondescript, advert will be overlooked or, worse still, actively ignored by the very people you are trying to attract. It doesn't matter that the Georgian fittings or glorious open plan structure would have people gasping in admiration if there's no-one actually coming to see the property in the first place.
So with this in mind, here are some helpful hints that will help to raise your property's profile and get those tenants calling, as well as making the time you spend creating your advertisement work as hard as possible for you.
