I accompanied several Spanish clients on my last trip to Sofia. It's always good to accompany clients that are travelling to the city for the first time to get their impression of the city. I am now used to the huge panelak buildings on the outskirts of the city en route from the airport, but for them this was something new. Their silence during the trip into the city centre was one of shock, they told me later.

One of the changes I noticed was that the level of local demand is increasing. When visiting new developments, there were considerably more local people in developments show rooms and certainly a report of more local demand from developers.

One developer told us he had completely sold out to the local market within a few weeks on a development in the district of Lyulin.
