I don't know why but talking about tax always seems to send me to sleep.
And yet, understanding tax (and the legal things that you can do to minimise it) can save you a great deal of money, especially where property is concerned.
In the UK, for buy to letters, there is a whole range of things that you can do to minimise your property tax bill - whether on capital gains or on income.
For capital gains tax the rules are already complex enough in the UK, and as an author, I recall the chapter in my book on this as being a real labour of love.
