The hottest topic in property - Is the market going to crash?
1st December 2006

When the Financial Times published the headline "Housing bust 'likely in next few years'" , Property Secrets were quick to respond, believing it to be yet another Doomsday 'prediction' that we've seen - and disagreed with - many times before.

And when we looked deeper into the article itself, written by Morgan Stanley's chief UK economist David Miles, we discovered we were right.

Our article - Boom or Bust? Will there be a UK housing 'bust' in the next couple of years? - sparked an in-depth, interesting and ongoing debate on our Discussion Forum ( read it here ), prompting us to seek the views of two property experts.

CEO and founder of Property Secrets, Neil Lewis and journalist, property agent and investor, Hamish Paterson give their take on the UK market, the FT's 'prediction' and what it means to you.

We invite you to join in the hottest property debate there is. You can join the original topic or comment on either Neil's or Hamish's article.
