'Why I'm investing in 'Wroclaw Poland' - Peter Andrewartha, Property consultant and Central and Eastern Europe specialist
4th March 2006
Peter Andrewartha is a successful property investor in the UK and someone who has carried out extensive research into the CEE's property markets where he is also an active investor.
Peter also acts as a consultant to Property Secrets. We asked him why he is investing in Property Secrets' Fountain Court deal...
So, Peter, of all the deals you buy into and have examined, what is it about this deal specifically that appeals to you?
With every deal it's always a combination of the location and the development. And to start with I have to say that I very much like Wroclaw.
I think it has so much appeal for a property investor. Apart from all the economic reasons why it's on the up and up - which are all detailed in the prospectus - there is quite simply a buzz about the place. That's always important to me. There is a vibrancy about the city and a busy feel. Lots of people cars and even gridlock on a Thursday afternoon! Simple things maybe, but it feels as if the place is going somewhere, outside of the cold statistics.
