In 2005 – almost by accident - most of the units that Property Secrets sourced in Poland, Slovakia and the Czech Republic cost around £50k. Last year, it seemed that most investors expected us to keep sourcing apartments in a band between £40k and £60k.But 2006 has been different.

It's the part you never hear about from the likes of A Place in the Sun, or from those friendly smiling people at 'Ready to Buy on The Coast' or 'Holiday Investments in Spain' ....But, believe me, any serious holiday destination investor needs to be aware of the Achilles' Heel problem.

Neil Lewis Neil Lewis , CEO and founder of Property Secrets, is an experienced property investor in his own right and author of two highly successful property investment books, Buy To Let Secrets and Property Developer Secrets .

Neil owns property in the UK , Spain , Poland , Romania and the Czech and Slovak Republics . He is a regular columnist for Property Week magazine and has been quoted in a number of UK and European broadsheet newspapers and magazines.
