I have around £15k - £20k to invest and am not sure what to invest in, I have thought of the obvious (Property Market) but am not sure and just wondered if anyone had any other ideas???

I just discovered Albania with huge growth forecast.

I bought 2 apartments in Tirana with a spanish company.
They sepak perfect English and gave me a really good service and advice.

I would recommend you to invest with them.
I bought my apartments from 12000 sterling only, really cheap prices there !!

Paco, we have to be very careful and perhaps give more information when referring to Albania. Yes, prices are cheap but there are a number of reasons behind this.

Firstly, Albania is not an EU member and is yet to be accepted, there are few large international developers and most importantly there is poor financing available (high interest rates).

We have looked at Albania as an investment location but are yet to find a deal that is suitable for Property Secrets investors. In my opinion, look at Sofia or strong 2nd tier cities in Bulgaria. Prices are similar, yet Bulgaria is a member of EU with 80% ltv mortgages available. Prices are rising at 20%+ year on year and the signs are positive for 2009 also.
