Has anyone got any ideas on the correlation of asking prices on resales to agreed sale prices in south east Cyprus? Is the eventual sale price usually less than the asking price or is it like here in Ireland where the asking price is often set low to entice interest but eventually ends up signficantly higher than the asking price?

Varies quite a bit but it's certainly a buyers market. Offers accepted fairly well below and pricing unpredictable. There's a forum for Eastern Cyprus where you will find good all round info. It's not a property sales site but contributors occasionally mention resales; there's a couple of bargains being talked about at present. Against rules to put websites on here but just Google

Hi JamesThe posts about an apartment for sale on Poseidon Court are relating to an CY£80k ish apartment (another resale sold for this in May) I understand for business reasons the guy would accept CY£65k. I understand it's a steel. There is an earlier post raising concerns but I have been in touch and all debts on the property have been sorted. If I had the spare cash I would certainly look at it.
