Usual Economist pessimism in this article but quite interesting nontheless. Biggest question marks over Latvia and tends to support positive views of Slovakia ahead of some others. Huw http: / /www .economist .com /world /europe /displaystory .cfm?story _id=8820521

Are these the same "Economist" people who have been predicting a house crash in the UK for, at least, the last 5 years? How can an "economist" write a statement like the following: "For all their gorgeous architecture, it is hard to see why the Baltic capitals should be pricier than Berlin, Vienna or Frankfurt." without referring to the laws of supply and demand, is beyond me. So Huw, stop reading the Economist and enjoy whatever Capital Growth you've achieved in Latvia so far:) C.
