We bought a property in Romania (Autumn Residence in Baia Mare) and would like to know if anyone has already investigated what are the possibilities to open a bank account there to manage the property.

Would be nice as well to get in contact with others that did buy in Baia Mare to share some info, ideas, suggestions.

I use Banca Transilvania for all my banking needs in Romania, business and personal.

They offer all the services indicated by Easy Credit but best of all they have a flexible approach which is helpful when sorting out issues which are non standard.

I have opened personal bank accounts for friends and colleagues with BT whilst on my travels in Romania on the basis of an authorisation letter and a photocopy of a passport without too much problem, but internet banking usually requires a personal visit.
