Oliver, it's a pity you removed Charles' comments and my very honest, appropriate and civil reply. Even stooping to try and suggest I hadn't paid my LCS fees. I suppose this situation is all badly timed seeing as its the most popular thread and you have a deal coming out........

hello, probably it is interesting this new wich I have found from google alerts. It is in italian, with google translator it is that: Nokia buys land in Romania to build new factories By Editor - 8 January 2009 Should be acquired next year by the group Nokia Romania land Tetarom Industrial Park III, located in the village of Jucu in the county of Cluj. With an area of 90 hectares land Nokia will pay around 2.1 euros per square meter for a total cost of about 1.8 million - as stated by the Director of SC Tetarom SA, Viorel Gavrea. For the investment in Jucu, Nokia - inform the Ice Bucharest - has already employed 2,000 employees and thousands of jobs depend on the establishment of this factory. In fact, the Council of Cluj has voted favorably for the allocation of 4.5 hectares in the other area Nokia Village, where for 2009 are expected other significant investments. "As agreed with the Nokia Romania 4 structures will be built: a medical clinic, a shopping center, a hotel and a school where Nokia will prepare and train future employees," said Viorel Gavrea. For the next year, the SC Tetarom SA not only want to give concession in another 35 hectares in the Park III Tetarom a Jucu for the production, but also intends to remove from circulation as agriculture 150 hectares.

Hi iPA The last update on the development was early Dec. In the past, monthly updates were sent, even if it said 'there was no change since the previous month'. Given that we are supposedly getting nearer to completion (the last update said completion was between February and March), can I ask why there has been no update? I'd like to know - I'm sure others would too. The mechanics of raising finance to pay for the remainder of the apartment need to be considered in plenty of time aswell as kitchen/white finish costs. I note there has been no mention of kitchen choices whereas in the past these have come out in previous developments well ahead of completion date. Does this mean the completion date is being put back? I note that another one of Nokia's suppliers based in Jucu (BYD Electronics) has closed its gates for the year. Doesn't sound good does it? Anyone have any further information? PS - Its a real shame Angela W no longer works for iPA. She was one of the few members of staff that turned round any queries I had within 24 hours - the service standard set out by IPA. As a reminder, this is what Oliver said on 27 June 2007: "Our customer support team have a 99% success rate at responding to clients within 24 hours. Some situations do take longer to respond to but as soon as we have investigated and found out the answers we will respond immediately. I am the worst at this due to my work load, but I can safely say that the rest of the company excel at responding in a timely manner and listening to customers". Please can you provide your LCS/PLS paying clients with a comprehensive update on this development and respond to their queries. Sanj

Dear Zulic, You have customer accounts on our system; a pro account, which you have used to make the above post and a lite account. It is the lite customer account that is associated with your purchse. Please log into your i-PA site using your lite membership log in details and you will see all the information relating to your unit in Jucu. Please call the Spanish office for assistance with this if you have any problems. regards Oliver Watts

Oliver I would hardly say that asking for an update as to when completion will take place, status of kitchens/white finish and asking about corporate deals with Nokia is a 'long list of queries'. This is what I asked of my ipa co-ordinator on 16th Jan. My feedback would be: a) please can you provide monthly updates even if it says 'there is no news' b) Can you acknowledge e-mails even if its a ' Thanks. Got your message. Will reply in due course'. This is not so much about Jucu but about Cluj generally. The economic crisis has affected here as well but it was good news to hear that 'Arab' airlines are recruiting 2000 stewards/esses from Cluj. I'm told they will be based in London but that gives them the affordability to buy a place back home. http: / /seventimes .ro /economy /flight _attendant _school _to _be _opened _in _transylvania .html That's a lot of jobs for a lot of people and confirms that someone else recognises that young Cluj people are bright, intelligent and have communication skills.
