Hi there, I have had a tenant in my flat near to the Paphos area for 5 months. The tenant is actually a football club. I have provided very good quality furniture etc... The Club has now stopped paying and when I contact them they tell me they will pay tomorrow or call me back in 10 mins which ofcourse they never do. What should I do? The tenant has now not paid for 3 months?

Hi Personally I chase my rent as you are. I assume you have not used an agent to manage your property and so they are not avaibable to visit. What does your tenancy agreement say? I am not sure how the law compares with the Uk. If I have tenants that are 2 months behind in the UK and there is no sign of paying I start eviction proceedings. I assume if the football club is set up as a company it may be easier to take them to court. It maybe best to get legal advice from a cypriet lawyer. Regards Paul
