Shame Spirit Wharf is taking so long. The exchange rates dropped around 4 or 5 CZK since November/December. I wish I'd fixed a rate!

Very difficult to fix rates when we don't know the exact completion dates. I fixed a polish zloty rate yesterday for 3 months (flexible drawdown) but had to use HIFX to do that who have higher rates than Currency Solutions who could only fix an exact date on "exotic" currencies.

Hi all, I have just come back from Cz and the feeling is that the rate should start to rise again soon. Fingers crossed. Martin

The only way that the rate will go up again if UK does not reduce interest rates as planned (unlikely) or the Czechs raise theirs (likely) See http: / /www .guardian .co .uk /feedarticle?id=7210678 So probably better exchange rates but more expensive borrowing. Cheers Pete
