Hi Jennifer and John
Once we have had a chance for a decent appraisal we will report back on our findings and prognosis - can't give a time frame on that yet.

After having bought in the czech Rep. I must admit I didn't realise all the complications involved, and wow! I do now have a company for my 1 bed flat in Prague, which is ridiculous. However, if I do intend to buy further, yes it will be easier. The drawback being that the mortgage interest rates will be higher through this method and that the EU residency route would be a better deal. Also, the expense of a company is quite high. If I were to buy again. I would only buy in Prague, this is due mainly for the fact that you are more than likely to get rental income to cover your costs, especially as Prague is planning more metro's and tram links for the workers into the centre, and if you need an exit rout I think that it would be easier. What is good about buying in central Europe is the outlay, however, after having bought 5 in these countries it has caused me so much stress especially regarding mortgages and tenors that I think that I will need a good year to recover!
