Can anyone from PS comment on the below lifted from today's Prague Daily Monitor?
Investors need to be very careful not to think that the slowdown in western markets/credit crunch will not adversely effect CEE markets. There are many CEE property operators out there claiming such things although I'm not saying PS has been. All I'm saying is be careful, don't overstretch yourself, and do lots of your own due diligence to double check all facts!

Falling demand for flats, fuelled by the real estate crisis, is now affecting some new housing projects. Developers are offering various discounts on new flats to boost the market. Analysts say the decline in prices of some new flats is the first reaction of developers to the cooling demand. "It's a new situation. Further developments are difficult to predict," says Pavel Kosman from Česká spořitelna.

Mlada Boleslav, Sept 22 (CTK) - Czech car maker Skoda Auto will reduce output on two days because of the global financial crisis, Skoda spokesman Jaroslav Cerny has told CTK.
Skoda managers Monday agreed on a limitation of output in all operations, except for the production of the new superb model, on September 26 and October 31, Cerny said.
Output will drop by around 2,500 cars. The decrease in production should reduce the company's stocks.
"Consequences of the financial crisis leave negative track on the European market. As the largest exporter in the Czech Republic, we will not be able to avoid these negative influences, which are moreover boosted by the strong crown. That is why we respond by limiting output on those two days," Cerny said.
Production programme of all models, except for the new superb, will stop completely on both the planned days. It is not clear how many people will be affected by the limit on output.
Skoda does not plan to respond to the financial crisis in any other way for the time being.
"These are current measures, I do not know about anything else," Cerny said.
Skoda Auto originally planned to produce around 759,000 cars. Last year, the company put out around 661,000 cars.
Skoda already registered complications owing to the strong crown in the first half of the year as its net profit fell by almost 10 percent year-on-year to Kc7.1bn despite growing sales.
Skoda confirmed its position as the largest Czech exporter last year, its share on total exports reaching 7.5 percent. The company exported cars, spare parts and other components worth Kc184.9bn in 2007.
