While its all gloom and doom in Western Europe it is good to see the Czech Republic's economy is performing well.
According to today's Prague Monitor, the number of jobless people fell below 300,000 for the first time in 10 years.
This came as a result of a 67,262 fall year on year in the number of unemployed. It would be harder staying out of work in Prague with virtually full employment in Prague East (1.5%) and Prague West (1.6%).
This comes on the back of Czech foreign trade figures in May showing a CZK 9.2 billion surplus, up from CZK 5.3 billion a year earlier.
Cheers
