The Slovakia report in the Times had some interesting investments stats and talked about local and international investment. Not sure it had any specific FDI stats however. It was the mortgage stats that interested me - see my post on the subject. There were some interesting comments on the new government as well which has not as feared reversed too many of the previous regime's changes. After a lull to see what happened foreign investment has picked up again. Huw

Huw, We do try and include data for each country for the monthly FDI monitor but this is based on the size of investments and is a round up of news - some months simply doesn't produce news on all countries. I can confirm that Slovakia will feature in the FDI monitor for March - Marks & Spencer will commence operations in the country in March under the franchise MSF Slovakia. More on this in the March FDI monitor.
