In the original Prospectuses for Kosik and Nove Medlanky Orco, together with certain guarantees were suggested as the best people to act as letting and management agents. Do those recomendations still stand after your recent trip?
Do you have the details of the LCS and PLS services for Prague and Kosik?
Knd regards
Pete

Pete,
Sorry to see that you've not had any response to your posting. I'm facing a similar problem in Prague at the moment. See my posting here:

Actually I thought I'd follow up Olivers excellent article here too:
This article did a great job of selling LCS/PLS to me and it sounds like Oliver is really done his research in Brno. However, based on my recent experience with PS for LCS/PLS for the Orco development in Repy the same does not seem to be true in Prague.
PS seems to have totally failed to launch LCS for Repy and I've just completed on my unit and done my own snagging* so LCS is rather redundant for me now. For PLS I'm guessing that PS will just go with Orco as the agent as that seems to be the only agent they have a relationship with in Prague (at the moment). Talking with Oliver and reading some postings on this forum it seems there is a bit of a conflict of interests between PS and Orco here and it seems that dealing with Orco via PS gives people no advantage over dealing with Orco directly (i.e. PLS is rather redundant in this case).
* See my posting on snagging here:

The strange thing about PS using Orco as an agent in Prague is that it seems to go against the 'best practice' that Oliver sets out in this article: Orco are relatively new to the letting game. I've not had extensive dealings with them yet but there are certainly some postings on this forum which seems to indicate that they can be quite disorganised. Although the letting part of Orco is quite small it seems to act rather like a big company (spotting missing rent payments is left to the corporate accounts department) and the staff seem to get drawn into unit handover for new developments (and I worry that this distracts them from day to day management).
From my above posting Bruce recommended European Reality and I've also seen a recommendation for Czech Realty Service on these forums. I visited Prague last weekend and hopefully I'll get round do doing a 'visit report' posting to give more details but I can say at the moment that none of the agents I've talked to have quite fitted with Olivers recommendations from this article....
It is a pitty that PS seems to have dropped the ball for LCS/PLS in Prague - particularly when they are planning to return to the Czech Republic with deals in the near future.... :-(
