I spoke with some agents on two recent visits and there seems to be a very buoyant market, reflect patterns in GB. There is also a healthy demand for good quality rental property reflecting the transient workforce with many people working on short-term contracts. There has been substantial investment in new build (and also EU investment) and there are land reclamation works under way to accommodate more housing. An added benefit is the absence of capital gains tax and presence of a transparent English based legal system. Also whole number of UK banks/bs out there. I know some are unsure about the impact of possible joint sovereignty but thats a no goer in the current political climate. Anyone got any experiences/views of Gib property market?
