I need to decide whether to put my mortages onto fixed rates. I have properties in the UK, EU and South Africa.
What do people think about interest rate movements, and if they are going up, by how much and when? (If you know the answers to those questions, you could make a lot of money! but what are your thoughts?)

Ben
A good starting point for future interest rates is to look at the Interest Swap Yield Curve for the relevant currency. This at least shows you where the Financial Markets see future rates. Currently Sterling 3m Libor rates are inverted after 1 year telling us The Market sees rates lower after that time. Often when base rates are jacked up by The Bank of England (particularly when not expected) the effect is to lower the longer term rates which is useful for those considering fixed rate periods.
An internet search for "Interest Rate Swap Rates" or similar should throw up some useful sites showing the current yield curves for various currencies.
I hope this makes sense and is of some use to you.
