I am trying (without much success) to let my holiday townhouse near La Rochelle in France. Last year was relatively easy to let but this year it is much more difficult. Up to now I have only tried to let to British people via Cheznous.com, but as I have been unsuccessful I think I need to try other ways. As the Euro is so much stronger this year I would like to try to let to Irish / European people. Is there a website that anyone could recommend to me? I was thinking of using Homeliday.com, anyone any experience of the success of using this site? Thanks

Hi I use holidaylettings.co.uk for my property in Nice and get a lot of requests from Irish and EU citizens..have to say though that this year has been quieter too.. two of my friends here use this site too, and we all believe it is the easiest and best site for people looking for holiday accommodation. I also use holiday-rentals.co.uk and get quite a good response there too, but I don't think their site is so user friendly. I joined cheznous this year as well and to date I have had not a single request via them.. I will not use them again. Hope that helps, Melanie
