If you can't get to a TV or radio this afternoon but you CAN be online, then you can follow live updates on Alistair Darling's 2009 Budget with us via our Twitter feed.

If you're not yet on Twitter, signing up is simple.

1) Got to http: / /twitter .com
2) Click the "Get Started - Join!" button near the bottom of the page
3) Enter your full name (this does not have to be your real name - we used "Property Secrets")
4) Enter your Twitter username (ie, propertysecrets - but choose your own!) - this is what you will use to log in to Twitter with
5) Enter a password you will remember
5) Enter your email address - so you can receive Twitter updates (like when someone follows you)
6) Enter the semi-scrambled words and click "Create My Account"

That's it. You may need to log in using your Username and Password, then just go to http: / /twitter .com /propertysecrets and click "Follow" under our Twitter logo. You can then keep up to date on all the Budget announcements as they happen.
