Im also noticing that some city centre flats (secondary market) are way below new build prices ,in established areas.

Tom,inteesting to read your areas of areas to avoid.Why doso many people say avoid whalley range? Is it so bad? I don't know the area at all,except for it neighbouring mosside and hulme,and also I've heard there are not many facilities,but i'd like to hear your take on why you'd advise avoiding it.

Yep, Whalley Range, not so bad, I've been investing in and around Didsbury, Chorlton for years and Whalley Range is even probably over valued now. Best to try and buy on the Whalley Range, Chorlton border but I have to say I don't think there are many bargains around.
