How long do Agreements in Principle last when taking out a mortgage? I'm interested to know this primarily for the Czech market, but also for other CEE countries.
For example in the UK you can apply for a mortgage quote, and hold this contract for 30-90 days. If the interest rates move up, you are still able to apply for the old interest rate.
And also, is an EU residency required to get an AIP from a Czech mortgagor, or is it only required when its time to receive the funds.

Hi Andrew,
When I spoke with Open Finance a few days ago here in Warsaw, i was told that the only lender that will give a Promissory Note/Agreement in Principle is MetroBank; this would be valid for two months and costs 500zloty.
I am meeting with a few of the Banks in the next week or so, and will try to confirm this.

Do you have any up-to-date information on re-mortgages in Poland? Or in my case it is mortgaging properties that were originally bought cash.
Do you think this product is available yet and if so who is most likely to provide it?
