Hi Huw,

thanks for your response. This is the first time I used I-property assets as I did not have a contact in Bratislava and the service is extremely slow to say the least. For my flat in Prague I already had a contact there and they installed the kitchen etc and had it rented within 2 months with no problems. PS really need to fix the problems with this service to give people confidence to buy through them. Currently I cant see what value the service adds. It just seems to slow everything down by having to go through a middle man.

Hi Huw

If your agent in Bratislava begins with R then agree they have been good. My non-PS unit rented almost as soon as it went on the market last December, and the got a discount on the kitchen installation which had been dragging on for months.

Re your independent route in Poland, did you find there was a lot of choice ? Do your agents have nationwide coverage, or just local to the development ? Have been out to Platan twice to check out agents but have not been overwhelmed with the choice available.

Hi Guys

In Poland I've found very good agents in Krakow (recommended to me) and am just about to change in Warsaw to a firm recommended by the same people. My recent experience of Rednet and by implication iPropertyAssets in Poland has been an absolute and very expensive disaster. Depending on what happens I may post the details later!

My agent in Bratislava does begin with R so probably the same people.

Dear All,

It is probably my fault for not being overly active on the forum to shout and sing about the successes of i-PropertyAssets. As a result i feel that a slightly unrealistic view is being presented.

I will whole heartedly agree that mistakes occur, but must also bring your attention to many of the successes that we can be proud of. I am very confident that the partners and the team that we have are more experienced and capable than any other provider on the market.

We have a very successful rental performance over our portfolio with over 185 units rented, posting an average void period of 6 weeks.

Maybe our failing has been in our setting of expectations with fit-out time scales. Much of which involves a whole host of parameters that need to be pulled together.

I would like to increase the resources at my disposal for self promotion but I do not want to increase prices or reduce resources assigned to coordinating and delivering the many investments and broad portfolio under our management that currently sits at an asset value of over £116 million.

I would also like to post all of the positive comments that we receive from the surveys that we send out at the end of each stage (exchange, completion, rental and sale) but would need permission from each individual. Not something that I have time or resources for at this point in time. We are praised for the quality of our team, our information, our pricing, our service offering, our transparency and our work ethic to name but a few.

For information, Nad Luckami phase 2 has 14 units, 2 for sale, 7 rented, 3 available for rent of which 2 have offers and 2 lacking electricity and therefore unavailable for rent. I would therefore classify this as a very successful project.

regards

H Oliver,

say what you like, but for someone like me, with only one unit unde rmanagement in Poland, you and your partners are way too expensive (17.5% of my rent).

If you can,t do better than this, I am leaving with the rest of them.

Oliver

You do not appear to have been very active at answering some very basic questions on the Platan thread, so would have to say from my perspective the negative view of IPA appears justified.

If problems, such as communciation, are not even acknowledged it is unliley that they wil get resolved, which is what I atleast would like to see happen.
