Hi, I already have a number of properties which I rent out. My personal strategy is 'buy and hold'. I now want to expand into developing and finding properties that need work so I can build in more profit on the front end.My problem is not finding people to do the work but a good reliable 'project manager'. I really don't have time to do this myself. Where do I go to find one and how much do they usually charge? Thanks all...Eric

In most of continental Europe you pay 9-12% of the total project cost (build or renovation, etc) for project management. Not sure about UK, but I'd guess it's the same... Try to get someone by recommendation, a bad project manager can really screw up things.

Hi Eric,
If you are still looking for someone to project manage your development investments I may be able to help.
I have experience in this area with access to good tradesmen. I live near London Bridge and succesfully ran a property services company in London for 15 years and am now in the process of returning to this sector after a period working in the corporate sales sector.
Give me a call if you want to have a chat.
