I had been intending to invest in the latest Woodlands Wroclaw development but following discussions with the 2 possibilities for mortgages published by PS it seems that my chances of getting a mortgage in Poland are slim. I have plenty of equity but by my own choice I do not always work. For the Polish market this is unacceptable.
Can anyone recommend a different way of raising money for use in EE. I could have bought a flat outright but want to be able to use my equity on a number of properties in the future.
Any advice would be very welcome.

Mark,
See my post on how to raise 400K in reply to Neilh.
Basically you can give equity to a bank in terms of savings or investments in shares etc. Depending on the portfolio profile you shoud be able to negotiate a mortgage based on a percent of the portfolio amount. I deposited $550K and received a 400K 15 year mortgage. If all is well the portfolio will grow and the property will help pay the mortgage...well that's the theory.

This sounds similar to my problem. I would also be interested to hear if anyone has any thoughts on this.
Also, does anyone know any motgage lenders who would accept mortgage applications from a company rather than an individual? In a ideal world I would want to have a company which owns a number of properties in EEC and all outgoings/incomings would be in company books. Does anyone know if this is achievable?
