Hi Alan.
Yes, Angela has told me they have now let one unit and have interest in the other.
My two units in Bucharest are both in Quadra - no prospect of letting so I had no option but to sell. I would have preferred to hold on for the indexation but how can you hold a property which will not let?
Both units are 2 bedders; both have sold, Euro 200k, and Euro197.5k so I guess they will have made a good profit. Nothing is finalised yet, of course, but I am hopeful. Daniel and Florenta @ Grupo are really dedicated, friendly and efficient.
I will report again as soon as I get some of my capital back!

Regards

Tom

Hi all,

Congrats to all you have rented ... I just found too that my 40m 1 bed with terrace has rented - for 1500, which i am well pleased with, in excess of expectations and enough to cover the 250 (?) service charge, the agency fee (10%?), the book keeping fee of 150 and just about have enough left to pay the 960 mortgage. I just hope other developments pan out the same way. BTW I let mine unfurnished.

I was however surprised to hear that the landlord pays the service fee .... I was told this is normal in Poland. This is not the case in other countries though ...?

25m pool - sounds fantastic!

Richard
