Can anyone recommend a good Polish Bank with online access?

Interested to here people`s own experiences. Can you apply online or do you have to go in person?

At present my partners & I have a Noble Bank account but with no online access it`s hard to keep track of transactions.

Thanks in advance.

Simon

Dont use Millennium. Nightmare to deal with. Have to go out there to do everything.

Hello Simon

I use BZWBK and I find them very good. On-line access is excellent and their website and on-line banking gives the option of Polish or English. (browse to www.bzwbk.pl and click the "English site" link at the top)

The mortgage application process was straightforward (but very detailed!). The people I deal with at BZWBK are very professional, spoke English perfectly and very helpful towards BTL investors.

A colleague used Millennium but found them rather difficult.

Hi Pat,

I also am looking to open a Polish bank account. Can you please provide contact details of someone at BZWBK that you dealt with who might be able to help me along with the branch location? Also is it possible to open an account in one day and what documentation did you need?

Regards,

Ricky

Go to the BZWBK branch on the Rynek or main market square (corner with ul. Szewska, next to McDonalds) and ask for Urszula (Ula) - she speaks English and can process a new account application. It will probably take about an hour. Take along your passport, that is all that's required.

Hi Ricky

To open just an ordinary bank account, this can be done in most brances just by bringing along your passport.

If you are applying for a mortgage, then they have a dedicated division in Warsaw (Ul. Marzalkowska 142) and they can e-mail all the documents to you in English.

Good Morning,

I have all my Property Management in Poland with Kategora.
They opened my bank accounts for me, got tenants, and transfer me rents in right time.

I am quite happy, since I have too many maaters at work to think of travelling to Poland for solving those simply things.

Anyone else working with Kategora ?

How do you see rents future in Warsaw ?

Regards

It seems like BZWBK and Nordea are the preferred banks of investors in Poland.
Can anyone please tell me if their account allows online transfers whereby you can send PLN to a UK account in PLN rather than have the bank convert this using their rates. Bank rates are usually poor so I would like to send the PLN to a currency converter in the UK which has better exchange rates.
Any comments from previous experience will be appreciated.

Regards,

Ricky
