Some advice please; I have a Polish friend that will act as my attorney to sign the Notary Deeds for a now completed new build apartment in Warsaw. I understand that the Polish Embassy here in the UK will apostile the POA that I will provide (in Polish). Has anyone else gone through this process ? Regards Paul

Hi Paul, The Polish Embassay is the best one stop shop. They will, as far as I understand, notorize the signature you make and, because it is the Polish embassay, this notorization is accepted by legal authorities in Poland. If you were to have you signature notorized at a British notary public, this would not be accepted at face value in Poland and you would then need to go (or send it to) the Foreign and Commonwealth Office to have you notorized signature VERIFIED (which is what apostilled means).
