My lender (DB) requires me to take out insurance for my flat to the value of 428,000PLN against fire and flood etc.

Has anyone sorted this themselves/can anyone recommend an option.

I'm looking to compare it with the Iproperty assets offer.

It's pretty easy to insure a property through one of the big insurance companies like Ergo Hestia - you can do it online but need a Polish speaker as it's all in Polish.

Warta Insurance is your other option

Also be aware that you need to submit your new insurance to the Bank every year. One of my clients recently received a letter from the Bank advising that it was required immediately and charged him for sending the letter.

As advised by another member Warta is very competitive.

We’ve got Ergo Hestia. Their service is competitive and ewa is right you can do it online. One thing you should consider, you needed to have a translator because their information is all in Polish.

I did this recently; it cost about 350 zl per annum for 2 bed apartment. Simple once you know Polish!
