I purchased two flats in a new development last year. I pointed out on my snagging list the very poor quality of the external painting. All the windows are timber as a planning requirement. The windows and doors are now distorting badly resulting in bad leaks, drafts and not being able to open/close easily. Developer and builder are not interested. Any idea’s on the best way to force his hand to be interested? Basically softwood windows poor quality and not helped by the painting. Thanks

Go to the building insurance company i.e zurich or nhbc. wRITE TO THEM. GET EVERYTHING DOCUMENTED. TAKE THEM TO COURT.
