Hi everyone,
Prague has been the slower grower over the past 12 months - perhaps between 8 to 12%?
My feeling is that the city is doing exceptionally well. The Czech economy is booming - being export led - and now all the big property developers are looking to build and invest in retail outlets across the country.
This can only mean that a retail and consumer boom is going to follow.
Properties are renting quite healthily now, and I hear talk of a interest only mortgage for foreign investors in Jan 2007.
I reckon this means that Prague and Brno too - are set to have a bumper year in 2007 - but that that the markets haven't yet taken off in 2006.
This would mean that the next 6 months is a very good time to get into Czech rep?
This is my 'instinct' talking here - based on recent visits and what I saw at Munich Expo.
In otherwords, no one came up to me and said 'Neil, it has to be Czech...' - but if they did, it'd probably be too late, right?
So, does anyone else have this feeling in their water (so to speak?).
Cheers
Neil
ps. Ostrava - 3rd city - had a HUGE stand at Munich Expo...

Hi Neil
With 2 in Kosik and 1 in Nove Medlanky Brno I am obviously very interested in the topic. If I can successfully let these properties I will be interested in further opportunities.
I certainly saw a lot of evidence of a booming place when I visited on business in July and am going out to Prague in two weeks time for a 4 day winter break where I will make some more detailed investigations and report back anything I find through the Forum.
Thanks
Pete Which Bank(s) do you think will offer Interest Only from January.
Have PS got any proposals for the LCS/PLS LMMS for Kosik and Nove Medlanky (Hope I got the TLA's and FLA's correct!!)
Thanks
Pete
