Further to my request for information in my other thread "Where to Invest", I'm looking for some more information on the market in Prague from anyone with some knowledge of the market. My question are: What rents are usually achieveable, and what void periods are the norm? What are typical fees if you buy existing property through local agents (agents, taxes, lawyers)? The PS brochure on Czech Republic notes that rental laws are changing in 2007 to make them more favourable to the landlord. Can anyone tell me more about this? To what degree can mortgages be based on rental income, as opposed to personal income? Any relevant info would be greatly appreciated.
