I am currently looking at a non-luxury studio in Brno. The apartment cost with finish, car parking & VAT is CZ 2,150K. I have read that average wages in Brno are ~CZ 300K pa so we are looking at a price/ ratio of just over 7.
This already seems quite high for a studio!
Okay a lot of Czechs already have equity from their old panaleks, averages can be very misleading and wages are expected to increase strongly in the future, but I'm just wondering if, given the current ratio, there really is scope for an apartment such as the above to increase at an average rate of 15% pa over the nextr 5+ years?
