I am looking to purchase a home,as permanent residence and investment, in the Castelldelfs area outside of Barcelona. Does anyone have an opinion on price/value opportunities there? Most of the questions and answers in this forum does not concern properties in greater Barcelona/Costa Brava. Do people generally see no or little investment opportunities there ?

Hi Alex I know that you are looking in the ex-pat area. Castelldelfs (is that how you spell it?) is just north of the v. popular Sitges resort - where prices have remained strong. I looked about 2 yrs ago and carried on down to Valencia - where prices where about half - but perhaps have caught up a bit now? Hope this helps Neil
